re-existence

While interest is hobbled because it cannot be scientifically tested and proven, there are strong assumptions amongst many Western scientists and Eastern mystics that principles, Truth and its images pre-exist. As archeology digs for relics of the past still true, science has and will always be based upon the premise that with sufficient digging (Easterners rely on meditation) truth and the applicable principles for the age in question can be unearthed: truth inclines ever upward.

The Nobel laureates and others speak: Emmanuel Kant, Leibniz, and Hermann Weyl as well, speak of God's choices.1 Commenting of the era before Creation, Einstein once rhetoricallly asked: "How much choice did God have in constructing the universe?" Likewise, Steven Hawkings comments on His: "Complete freedom ... to choose how the universe began," and Thomas Torrance "stresses God's freedom in creating as an act of voluntary choice." Inferring the Creator's mathematical choices of design, Richard Feynman noted: "the Great Architect seems to be a mathematician."2 As all the world believes in quarks and gravitons without science ever having seen one – as evidence warrants faith in the existence of those unseens – the historical giants among us believe the Creator employed Choices in designing this universe: as the evidence available to them would seem to have warranted their belief.

Freeman Dyson indicates his own belief in a pre-time era when he penned the words, "The more I examine the universe and the details of its architecture, the more evidence I find that the universe in some sense must have known that we were coming." 3 In what Paul Atkins calls: "The time before time," and Leon Lederman calls: "The pre-big bang universe," the Hindu called Atman, and the Egyptians called Atum, would seem to be buried scientific truth or principles which were in Creation prior to its emergence. At least there would seem to be cause to suspect claims that nothing existed before the big bang for such ideas seem to clash with logic and that is the realm that the Creator would exist and plan within (click). The purpose in what follows is to establish the idea that the universe is alpha- imago- informational (defined in paragraphs below) with a mathematical foundation now and in its conceptualization.

  • Belief in the pre-existence of Truth and role of intuition: So many revolutionary thinkers from Plato, to Einstein, Max Born, and Heisenberg have affirmed the belief of the pre-existence of principles and truth (perhaps not always detail, but general prototypes) accessible through image and intuition that the logical conclusion would seem to be that they are correct: truth, Imago (i.e. Image or the collection of truths), preceded and guides Creation. They more than anyone else would have to know where the secret pipe-line of their wisdom came from – our research and textbook sciences, i.e. human knowledge, is measured by man's growing comprehension of the pre-existing stock of eternal principles, or Truth.
